I am thankful for the many opportunities TIU provided me with. In particular, I worked as a Peer Advisor for Writing (PAW) under TIU’s Student Leadership Internship Program for 2 years. As a PAW, I sought to help as many fellow students as possible to succeed in their classes. It was indeed a big pleasure to hear positive feedback from the students and their professors afterwards, and I am proud of myself for being a part of that program. I have learnt a lot and improved lots of skills, including close attention to the details, researching, effectively communicating, understanding people and much more. I studied in the DBI major and gained a lot of knowledge, experience and practical skills from it.

After my graduation I wanted to continue contributing to TIU by participating in various events, providing more help to current students and promoting the university further.

It is an honor for me to become a new Chairperson of the TIU EAA - the position, which allows me to achieve everything that I wanted. I will do my best to continue the hard work of the previous Board members and continue improving, expanding and supporting the alumni network and association.
